Ask your numbers

The assistant lives under Reports & money, then "Ask your numbers". It is part of the plans that include the AI assistant.

Ask a question

Type your question in the box and press "Ask"; Enter sends it too. If nothing has been asked yet, pick one of the suggestions, such as "How did last week compare with the week before?", "Which items are barely selling?" or "When are we busiest?". While it works out the answer you see a short "Working it out" placeholder.

Where the answers come from

Every figure comes from one of your reports. Under each answer, small "from" tags name the report used: sales summary, revenue by day, item performance, branch comparison or channel mix. If no report can answer, you are told so rather than given a guess. Check the tag before you quote a number to your team.

Earlier questions

The "Earlier" list on the right keeps your previous conversations; open one to carry on where you stopped. "New question" starts a fresh conversation, so an unrelated topic does not mix with an old one.

The monthly allowance

Use is capped each month. When you get close, a warning shows the share used and the date it resets. Once the allowance is used up, the box closes until that date and the rest of the Insights screens keep working. If the assistant is not switched on for your installation, the page says so at the top and the suggestions stay greyed out.
