Insights

Numbers live under Reports & money: Reports, with its Overview, Insights, Prep, Margins and Labour tabs, and "Ask your numbers". Every figure reads completed orders only, in your restaurant's timezone, and the business day starts at the hour set under Settings, Reporting day. Reports and Insights are on every paid plan; Margins needs Inventory (Growth and Pro) and the copilot is Pro.

Home

Home shows today at a glance: Net sales, Orders, Average ticket and Labour against the same time last week, with what needs attention and the live service. What each role sees there is in the Home guide.

Insights

The Insights page is the picture over a period: "Revenue" and "Average order", "Revenue by day", "Best sellers" and "Barely moving", "Where orders come from" (QR code, web, POS, kiosk, phone) and "When they arrive" by hour, and "Branches side by side" when you run more than one. Pick the dates and a branch, or all branches, and "Reset" to come back to the default. An empty period says so rather than showing zeros.

Reports

The Reports page holds four flat tables, each with a date range, a branch and "Export CSV":

• "Sales by hour and weekday", for the rota.
• "Sales by payment method": cash, card at the terminal, Konnect, Stripe, cash on delivery and comps, with tips.
• "VAT summary": tax collected per rate with its taxable base.
• "Voids, comps, discounts and refunds": money that left the bill on purpose, with the reasons given most often.

Closed days are read from a nightly roll-up, and today is read live. If older days look empty, the page footer names the backfill command for support to run. The CSV opens in any spreadsheet and stops at 10,000 rows with a final row saying so.

Prep

Pick a day and press "Show": past sales say what you will need to prepare, dish by dish, so the morning starts from a list and not a guess.

Margins

"Every dish with a recipe" is listed with its price, its costs, its food cost against your "Target food cost" and a suggested price you can apply with "Use this price". Dishes without a recipe are flagged "No recipe" with a link to add one; the Inventory guide explains recipes.

Ask your numbers

The copilot answers a question in plain language, such as "How did last week compare with the week before?", from the same report layer and nothing else: it never reads guest names or phone numbers. Earlier questions are kept under "Earlier". Each question costs an allowance that resets monthly; when "You have used this month's assistant allowance" shows, the charts still work.

The morning digest

At eight every morning, restaurant time, every owner receives yesterday in numbers by email, in their own language: sales and orders, bookings still waiting for an answer today, ingredients under par, failed payments and no-shows. A quiet day says so. To stop it, untick "Morning digest to owners" under Settings, Messages and alerts; that applies to every owner of the restaurant.

Benchmark

Under Settings, Reporting day, you can let your anonymised figures join the benchmark. It is off until you switch it on.
