Labour and kitchen times
Labour is a tab of Reports, under Reports & money, and Kitchen times a tab of the Kitchen display, under Orders & payments. Labour needs the point of sale on your plan, and Kitchen times needs the kitchen display.
Labour against sales
Open Labour, pick a "From" and a "To" date, choose a branch if you have several, and press "Apply". Four tiles total the period: "Worked", "Net sales", "Labour cost" and "Labour %". The table lists each day and branch with "Scheduled", "Worked", "Overtime" and "Net sales", and "By branch" gives the totals per branch. "Export CSV" downloads what you see.
Who sees the costs
Hours are shown to anyone who can read reports. "Labour cost" and "Labour %" only appear for people allowed to see pay, and the page says so. Hours worked by someone with no pay rate are not costed, so set the rate on the staff pay page. Overtime follows the rule set on the pay page, and the page states the rule in use above the figures.
Kitchen times
Open Kitchen times and choose a period in days and, with several branches, a branch. Tiles show "Tickets", "Median", "90th percentile" and "Late", with the late share. "By station" lists each station, with "Average" and "Remakes" too, and "By hour of the day" shows when the kitchen slows down. A time runs from starting a ticket to bumping it ready.
Reading the numbers
The median is what a normal ticket takes. The 90th percentile is how long the slow ones take, which is what a guest at the unlucky table feels. Watch that figure at your busiest hours. Until stations bump tickets ready, the page says "No finished tickets yet".
