Payouts and card rates

Card payments through Stripe are followed in two places: the "Card payments with Stripe" card in Settings, and the Payouts tab of Payments, under Orders & payments, open to owners and managers. Connect Stripe first, as the Payment setup guide explains.

Your card rates

"Your card rates" shows what the platform takes on each card payment, for each way a guest pays: "In person" at the till or card reader, "Online" from the guest's phone, and "Card not present" for a card taken without the card in hand, such as by phone. Each line says whether it is the rate for your country and plan or the standard rate. Stripe's own fees, where they apply, are listed in each payout.

Local payment methods

Once Stripe takes card payments for you, "Payment methods" lists the other ways guests in your country pay, such as iDEAL, Bancontact, TWINT, BLIK, MB WAY or Klarna, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Each has its own switch. Stripe must offer a method on your account: one marked "Not available yet" is requested from Stripe when you turn it on, and Stripe may review it first. "Check with Stripe" refreshes the list. What is on is offered wherever guests pay by card.

Tap Payments in the Gulf

In Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the Emirates, guests can pay with mada, KNET, Benefit, Apple Pay or a card through Tap. Open your own Tap account, paste the secret key from your Tap dashboard into "Tap secret key" (it starts with sk_live_ or sk_test_) and switch on "Offer Tap at checkout". The money goes to your Tap account. The key is stored encrypted and never shown again, and refunds go back through Tap.

Payouts

The Payouts page shows your balance: "Available", "On its way" and "Available instantly". "Latest payouts" lists what Stripe sent to your bank, with the date, amount, speed and status. Open a payout to see what it includes: card payments, refunds, Stripe fees, platform fees and what was paid to your bank.

Pay out now

Where Stripe allows it, "Pay out now" sends your instantly available balance to your bank or debit card, usually within 30 minutes. Before you confirm, it shows the instant payout fee and what you receive. An instant payout cannot be undone.
