QR ordering
Each table has its own QR code. A guest scans it, sees your menu in their language, orders in rounds and can call a waiter or ask for the bill without installing anything.
Creating tables and codes
Go to Bookings & floor, then Floor & QR. Type a name such as "Table 4" and press "Add table". Each table has a number of seats and a minimum and maximum number of covers, which the till and the booking form both respect. "Print all" opens a print view with one code per table, ready for the table stands.
If you also want a plan of the room, add floors and areas on the same page, for example a ground floor with a terrace, and place each table in one.
Rotating a code
If a code is photographed and shared, or a stand goes missing, press "Rotate QR" on that table. The old code stops working at once and a new one is generated. Print the new one before you remove the old stand.
What the guest sees
The menu opens in the restaurant's default language, chosen under Settings, General. The guest can switch language for themselves. Items marked unavailable or hidden from the online menu do not appear. The guest adds dishes, answers the modifier questions, and sends the round. Further rounds are added to the same table session until the bill is settled.
Two requests are available on the guest side: "Call waiter" and "Bill requested". Both appear on the POS floor for the staff, and they are rate limited so one table cannot flood the pass.
Pickup and delivery
The same menu serves a takeaway counter and a delivery address. Delivery is switched on under Settings, General, with a fee and a minimum order. Delivery zones, each with its own fee, minimum and typical time, are drawn on the Zones tab of Delivery. A guest ordering for delivery picks their zone and sees the fee before confirming.
Before it works
Nothing answers until the restaurant is live. Finish the setup checklist and press "Open my restaurant". Until then a scanned code shows guests that the menu is not public yet.
