Waitlist
The waitlist is a tab of Reservations, under Bookings & floor. It shows the walk-ins waiting for a table at the branch you are working in, in the order they arrived.
Add a party
Press "Add to the list", then fill in "Name", "Phone" and "Party size". Email and notes are optional. "Quoted wait (min)" is the time you promise. Leave it empty and the page suggests one for that party size, learned from this branch's own waits over the last four weeks, or from your default until there is enough history.
Call them and seat them
Each row shows the place in the queue and how long the party has waited.
- "Table ready" sends them a message. "Notify again" sends it a second time.
- If no message can reach a party, the row says "No message can reach them: call their name."
- "Seat" asks you to "Choose a table" among the free ones, then moves the party off the list.
- "Left" removes a party that gave up.
Parties you seated or who left today stay visible under "Seated and gone today".
Let guests join
Open "Waitlist rules" to set the page up.
- Tick "Let guests join from the link or QR code". Use "Copy link" to share it, or print a poster from the QR codes page.
- "Default wait per party ahead (min)" is the quote used until your own history is long enough.
- "Largest party taken online" caps the size of a group that can join by itself.
Press "Save rules" when you are done. With the guest link off, staff can still add parties from this page.
